What is Medication Management
Medication management involves the evaluation, prescribing, and ongoing monitoring of medications to treat mental health conditions. It includes regular meetings with a qualified provider to ensure the medication is effective, safe, and tailored to your individual needs. Our approach focuses on alleviating mental health symptoms.

Our Outpatient Therapy Services
Medication management is a core component of our outpatient therapy programs, specifically our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). We do not offer standalone medication management services.
Partial Hospitalization Program
Our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) provides intensive, structured treatment for individuals requiring a higher level of care. Medication management within PHP includes weekly meetings with a Nurse Practitioner, along with group therapy and other therapeutic interventions.
Intensive Outpatient Program
Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) offers a less intensive, but still structured, approach to outpatient care. Similar to our PHP, medication management in IOP involves weekly meetings with a Nurse Practitioner, integrated with group therapy.
Our Medication Providers
Mind Above Matter’s medication management is overseen by qualified Nurse Practitioners (NPs) specializing in mental health. Our NPs work collaboratively with our therapy team to provide integrated care. They:
- Conduct thorough evaluations
- Prescribe appropriate medications
- Monitor medication effectiveness and side effects
- Adjust dosages as needed
- Provide education about medications
